“In 2019 my wife and I began hosting Airbnb guests in two of our families’ properties, but it wasn’t as easy as expected. We were both working full-time and putting a lot of effort into advertising and managing bookings. The financial return wasn’t good enough as we set cheaper prices to get more bookings, but we still couldn’t manage to get the properties fully booked. Some months we would have it fully booked but others we would not do as great. Therefore, the income was not as consistant. Besides the income not being as consistent as expected, we would find ourselves dealing with a lot of guests’ complaints
It was a nightmare! There were too many details scaping our control and after a few months, we didn’t have any time or energy to deal with the inconveniences of short-term rentals. In 2020 we managed to get a 2-year tenancy lease signed. Once the property was emptied out this year, we decided to give short-term rentals another go by contacting CityHost through a friend who recommended their services. Eli managed the project along with his team who worked on upgrading the property for a better guest experience.
Since we’ve been working with them, the properties have been constantly rented with higher profits than ever. We don’t have to worry or control anything anymore. The apartments are still ours, but we have no headache over them.
Thank you CityHost team!”

“Before using CityHost management services, I first experienced the company’s services as a guest, which gave me strong confidence when I finally decided to do business with the company after buying my first property in the city.
As my business requires me to come to London very often, for many years I sought accommodation in hotels until I decided to try out a short stay through Airbnb. My first short stay in a private residence in London was in an amazing studio in Chiswick managed by Eli. His professionalism was impressive: he greeted me at the property with contagious enthusiasm and walked me through the property showing me everything I needed to know.
His positive energy along with his amazing portfolio of properties have made him my favourite host in the whole city of London. But more thana. Competent hots, he became the property manager I could trust.
Last year I decided to invest in my first property for the purpose of renting it out. I contacted Eli to view the property and get an estimate for profits and has been managing the property since then. He is in charge of the property while I’m with my family in France. Every time I come to the city for business, he makes sure to clear out the booking calendar so I can enjoy my residence.”

“I have been working with CityHost for a long time and couldn’t be more satisfied with their service and team. They are professional, trustworthy and reliable, especially in terms of pricing. This was something that always made me sceptical about management companies. As a property investor, I used to be uncertain of these companies' pricing strategies until I discovered that Eli is indeed a competent professional with large field experience who knows what he is doing. With his rental strategies, I earn 40% more than I used to earn with long-term contracts.
Both of my mortgages are paying off with minimal effort and the property is always in use and under constant inspection.
While CityHost manages my property investments and increases my earnings, I make time to analyse other investment opportunities. Actually, I currently have my eyes on a new property to add to my portfolio and pass on to CityHost in 2023.
Sometimes mortgages can feel like burdens, but short-term rentals are the key to my financial freedom and CityHost is a long-term solution to succeed in this industry.”

“I almost considered selling my property after being offered an amazing job opportunity abroad. At that time, I had recently been promoted to a higher position in Asia and was concerned about the weight of having to pay my mortgage off while relocating to another continent.
The idea of doing short and medium rentals came from word-of-mouth, from a colleague who had already used property management services to rent her property while working outside the UK. It was a risky decision, but none of the traditional rent/sell options would have brought me any financial satisfaction. Selling the property would’ve meant losing my most valuable asset, and the idea of having permanent tenants in my property wasn’t appealing either. Yes, I did want to be able to pay the mortgage. However, I still wanted the property to remain mine and have the flexibility of using it any time I came back to the UK.
After speaking with agents from several companies I realised that Eli prioritises guest vetting and does personal check-ins, both essential aspects to ensure that the property will always remain in a favourable condition while I am away.
It has been six months since I moved away, and I can’t wait to feel the warmth of being at home for Christmas.”
